It is advised, when traveling with a baby, to proactively prepare for all situations. There are many baby medications, hygiene products and other items not widely available or that are very costly on the island.
It is a good idea to take a variety of jarred and packet foods, as well as cereal, juices and snacks that the baby is accustomed to. You will need to take any formula with you as this is not widely available throughout Cuba.
Take sterilising tablets and any medication you would be likely to use if baby was to fall ill in Cuba. Re-hydration solutions, ear drops and antibiotics. You may also want to discuss your trip before hand with your Pediatrician. Sunhats and umbrellas are a must as well as high factor sun screen.
